Trevor Hawkins of Bexhill On Sea decided on a day at Greenfield Valley whilst staying in Cha-Am. As well this Mekong Catfish, the biggest fish of the day, Trevor was given the run around by several other large fish. here is what Trevor had to say about his day.
"Hi Jules, I would like to thank yourself/David & ALL the Crew that made my days fishing So Special !

It is my 58th Birthday Today Tuesday 26th,so it was even nicer because you didnt even know you were making this old man so happy with what will possibly be the fish of a lifetime.
My wife & I maybe back in one of the Villas.
I will forward some Photos I have taken once in the UK.
If poss it would be good to get copies of the photos that David took of the one that Didnt get away!
I had two other Big Fish that after fighting for 10/15 mins threw the hook.
So I feel I could have had 3 or so 50 pounders plus
Still one at 36Kilos will keep up my Bragging Rights for a while to come

Having talked with one of previous customers Sam, Grahame and Matthew decided on a few days on Bungsamran, and where reward with a 39lb Carp for Grahame and a 111lb Mekong Catfish for Matt! Not bad for short session well done guys!

The debate around the size of Arapaima continues! Here is a fish that is quite clearly much bigger than the 86kg/191lb we weighed and measured for those lovely people at the IGFA, yet the local guides are putting 80kgs on it! Not on your nelly Mark, your fish is at least 113kg/250lbs and possibly considerably more when compared to the fish we have actually weighed which is no mean feat. Glad you finally broke your big fish jinx on your last days fishing this, look forward to seeing you do better next year Mark!

53lb Giant Siamese Carp

Dave Holland, on a two week fishing holiday, managed to land his best fish (not biggest fish) 53lb Giant Siamese Carp after a 45 minute plus long battle on at Cha-Am Fishing Park. Well done Dave!

Rohu 9lb

Charlie Park from Surrey, took a day trip with SFT to Cha-aM, and although the big siamese carp eluded us, we managed several Rohu to 10lbs, Mekongs, Striped Catfish and an enormous Thai redtail of around 20kgs (pics soon!)
