75kg Arapaima

Kevin and Dave return to the Arapaima that Kevin took a 70kg fish from on his trip with SFT in September. Dave having laready taken a 30lb Alligator in the morning followed by small Arapaima and Pacu, was beggining to feel maybe Kevin had got all the luck, with his 50.2kg Carp, his 56kg Mekong and his 50kg Arapaima earlier in the day! But today was to take the crown to day with this 75kg specimen.

Kevin has had an incredible 3 days fishing. First with a 56kg Mekong on Bungsamran, then a 50.2kg Carp on Bungsamran (The biggest captured on Bungsamran this season so far) and now a 50kg Arapaima....all seems to easy eh Kev?

Having captured numoerous Arapaima on day of their trip today saw Mike and Andrea take their best fish, each of them taking fish well over 50kg

Mike & Andrea from Switzerland took our Arapaima catch gaurantee package and was not disspoitned with 12 Arapaima in total over 2 days fishing with fish from 10kgs up to 75kg. This was Mikes biggest at approx 55kg.

Giant Siamese Carp

50.2kg Giant Siamese Carp, having already taken one 100lb plus fish in the morning, late afternoon saw the baitrunner singing again for Kevin to be rwarded with what we believe is the biggest carp from Bungsamran this season so far at 50.2kg or 110lb. This puts Kevin in a very elite club, some anglers have fished for 100lb plus carp in Thailand for many years and not managed to bag one, Kevin did it on just his 2nd trip to Thailand and 4th Day on Bungsamran.

Dave Holland returning for his 3rd fishing holiday with Siam Fishing Tours did manage to trump his 90lb redtail or 220lb Arapaima during his 3 days at Palm Tree Lagoon this this time, but he did manage some nice St Juliens Golden Price, a Siamese Carp and this nice looking Catla Catla of 25lbs or so.

Trevor Hawkins of Bexhill On Sea decided on a day at Greenfield Valley whilst staying in Cha-Am. As well this Mekong Catfish, the biggest fish of the day, Trevor was given the run around by several other large fish. here is what Trevor had to say about his day.

It is my 58th Birthday Today Tuesday 26th,so it was even nicer because you didnt even know you were making this old man so happy with what will possibly be the fish of a lifetime.
My wife & I maybe back in one of the Villas.
I will forward some Photos I have taken once in the UK.
If poss it would be good to get copies of the photos that David took of the one that Didnt get away!
I had two other Big Fish that after fighting for 10/15 mins threw the hook.
So I feel I could have had 3 or so 50 pounders plus
Still one at 36Kilos will keep up my Bragging Rights for a while to come
